This year Halloween is all about dog parties!  That's right, Luna has more parties to go to them her parents. Tomorrow we are heading down to Greenlake in Seattle for our corgi group's annual Halloween Costume Parade.  I think we'll be breaking a record this year since 65 people have RSVPed already!  Can you even imagine what that many corgis in one place is going to look like?  Insane.

Our Thursday, July 28 Matt and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in Vegas!  We went to see Criss Angel's show "Believe" at the Luxor and then had a late dinner at Valentino's at the Venetian.  I had an awesome flank steak and Matt tried rabbit for the first time.   The best part was the SUN!  It's been missing in Seattle this summer so it was nice to see it again and we finally have tans.

I call this "Love Triangle." Karl clearly is in love with Luna, but Luna is looking for me since I had just left our house when Matt snapped this photo. I love our animals. When we first brought Luna home 3 years ago she had never lived with a kitty before and was terrified of our cats, but she quickly became very curious about them and LOVES herding them around the house.  Her favorite is Vlad.

Last Sunday, we took Luna to a corgi meetup at Edmonds Dog Park. The organizers timed it just right so it was low tide. The best part of the day, besides Luna being on her best behavior, was when she found some crabs hiding out in the washed-up seaweed. I got some great shots!

We got another donation! Thanks Sarah for helping support the kitties and puppies at PAWS!I volunteered yesterday and it was heartbreaking. So many cats and not enough people coming through. We even had one family return a cat. But the good news is one big beautiful black boy named Tahoe got a new family complete with two little kids. Today was our first experience at the Corgi Fun Day put on by the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club. It was at a park only about 5 minutes away from our house. There were tons of Corgis there and lots of fun stuff for Luna to do like an agility course, rally obedience (which we stunk at) and some fun games (none of which we won). Is it finally time to rest? We've had some very busy weekends over the past few weeks and they are only going to get busier! Its official: Luna is home! We love her to pieces and we're so glad she is here with us.
