This is an announcement for any of you who might be in the Seattle/King County area who also want a cat!

Catapalooza is for kids and adults and will include:

Cat & Kitten Adoptions

Crafts for Kids
Face Painting

Along with the Seattle Humane Society, seven other local cat rescue organizations will participate, including Feral Care, Homeward Pet, King County Animal Control, MEOW, South County Cats, Purrfect Pals and Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue. There will be festive cat-centric activities for the whole family! "Cats have been great family members for about 4,000 years," said Brenda Barnette, chief executive officer for the Seattle Humane Society. "We've planned a day of fun so everyone can have fun learning why cats are so cool."

Catapalooza will be held at the Seattle Humane Society, located in Bellevue at 13212 SE Eastgate Way. For directions to the Seattle Humane Society, or for more information about the event, call (425) 641-0080 or visit us online at www.seattlehumane.org. Many thanks to our presenting sponsor, KOMO Newsradio. Please consider bringing cat food to drop into our donation barrels for the Seattle Humane Society's Pet Food Bank, which provides pet food for pets of low-income seniors.

I Wants Him

Wouldn't Kentuky make a wonderful commie?

Somehow I think Matt would disagree.

*Sigh*

The best part about Kentuky? He loves to be held like a baby. He'll snuggle in your arms or your lap for some nice, long pets. He definitely shows physical signs of a hard life on the streets but he is such a lover.

If you are interested in adopting Kentuky go to www.paws.org or you can make a donation to PAWS by following this link: http://blba.us/i.asp?id=314438-259477603-2

Viva Las Vegas!

Matt and I recently celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by revisiting the place where it all took place - Las Vegas, Nevada! This time we stayed at the MGM Grand and it was the best decision we made. They definitely made that hotel/casino large enough that you never have to leave it. It has everything you need right inside. Our favorite part was the 5 swimming pools!

They even had a Lion Habitat at MGM so we could get our kitty fix!

When we walked out of the MGM, we saw New York, New York!

We found a Bettie Page store inside the Miracle Mile Shops.

Me and Clifford sharing my Bacardi Lemonade at FAO Shwartz in Ceasar's Palace.

We were so close to meeting Dick Butkus!

The Excalibur had hot dog and beer deals for $3.50! Matt ate a lot of hot dogs and at one point I had 3 beers sitting in front of me!

This time we made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower Experience!

I'll have to put the rest of my pictures in another post. This one is getting too long.
